This is actually a reference to the Angry Video Game Nerd, I'm 99% positive of this. If you don't know who that is, youtube it.

NES--still-the-best wrote
Wrong. "It's so bad" is a line from the 1989 movie "The Wizard", starring Fred Savage. The movie was basically one giant commercial for Nintendo's Power Glove and (upcoming game at the time) Super Mario Bros 3.

Youtube that, and you'll see the reference long predates AVGN, he was actually referencing the cheesy movie line as a joke. Trust me, this is coming from someone who saw the movie the day it came out, who also still owns his power glove.

Yeah its definitely from The Wizard. It's funny how confident all the people were though.

Guy wrote
At the beginning of AVGN's Power Glove episode he holds it up and says "It's so bad". Word for word.

I don't know if anyone did that in The Wizard though.

Gerben wrote
The image on the Bach to the future shirt is Beethoven...

hmmm? wrote
So what exactly is this referencing O.o

Guakala wrote
Jesus this is clearly from The Wizard period.

Lucas Barton (Jackey Vinson) said it when he played that Racing game with Jimmy! Get your movie game up!

jjalexander wrote
Yes, it IS from The Wizard. Fer chrissakes the glove is even angled on the shirt the exact way Lucas was holding it when he said the line! These stupid youtube generation kids don't seem to realize that there WAS pop culture before the internet.

And yes, the shirt is awesome.

matt wrote
I like that I submitted a design just like this and they just made there own, lameeeeee

Gerben = Wrong wrote
No, it's Johann Sebastian Bach... that's why it's BACH to the future, lol.

Brad wrote
Ordered for my cousin, he will get the obvious reference...Holy Christ, people are dense as hell.
