I don't think you are correct in your deduction that this shirt is alluding to the Aurora shooting.

This article http://www.teesd.com/abraham-lincoln-caped-emancipator-t-shirt/ was from May 25, 2012. The Aurora shooting did not occur until the release of TDKR, which was after that date. Therefore, the similarity is merely coincidence. Or it was at one point, and more than probably still is.

And the shirt, I have not purchased it, but it sure looks nice.

Erm, just the fact that half the people on this board took angry dudes comment as a genuine declaration of anger, speaks volumes about the world we are living in...I'm quite certain he was just joshin'...the other possibility is that he is a much less successful Dr.Evil.
But his comment being taken seriously probably means that too many people in this country would actually make a similar statement in a super cereal way...and that would've made Bat Abe so very disappointed...

PS: not to rain on any parades, but while Lincoln was a great President in someways he was not quite as sympathetic in others. He was kinda that guy who gave the order to give the Native Americans small pox blankets. not very batman like.

The fact that one of the greatest presidents of all time and one of the greatest superheroes of all time were combined on a t-shirt should be secondary to the question that no one is asking: was Batman a time traveller? And more importantly, who took the picture for this print? I'm completely disgusted with the people who look at these so-called "inexpensive t-shirt" sites and rattle on about 30 people Twitterlicking themselves while trying to decide who their favorites are. I can honestly say I'm proud to be Lithuanian. I SAID GOOD DAY.

Can you stop degrading the accomplishments of our superheroes? "Oh, I've got a great idea, let's combine the face of one of the GREATEST superheroes of all time... with some old dead guy." Yeah, that makes a whole boatload of sense. I know you're just doing this to appeal to the older generation- those who do not understand the greatness associated with Batman. However, these oldsters are going to assume that Batman had "Lincolnlike" qualities or other similarities to an American president. These are the people that are leading our great nation, and I for one will not stand for such degradation of Bruce Wayne. I will now write several angry tweets on Twitter about this website so that all of my followers (I have almost 3 now) will never listen to you again.
