Correct. THe thing is Han used the Maw (and its black holes) to take a short cut, hence why 12 parsecs is outrageously short lol.

Pedro wrote A parsec is an astronomical unit of distance, the Parallax ARc SECond, not a unit of time. The thoroughly confusing (and confused) statement by Han has been explained in the novels (and thus has become part of canon) to mean that on his way out of Kessel Han skirted super close to the black hole cluster in the Maw. Star Wars nerd fo' life!
